5 stars Wish You Were Here is Pink Floyd's Ninth Studio Album which released in 1975. Wish You Were Here is a concept album dedicated to former Pink Floyd vocalist and guitar player Syd Barrett. The album is mostly about how the band misses there former band member who was lost in drugs and left the band from the stress of being in the spotlight. The band blames the industry that made Syd Barrett famous for the loss of there band member and friend, because they feel the industry doesn't care for the band but the money the band brings. The lyrics tell this story very well as does the very emotional instrumentation. I rate this album a 5/5, a masterpiece that belongs in any prog or classic rock collection.
