5 stars Aren't you a Hawkfan? 'Space Ritual' is NOT progressive - it's hypnotic space rock, but this is real space! Songs are not merely 'songs', they are endless riffs, white noise, cold winds, electronic voices, tribal drumming - and not a single note from that bad computers, no drum machine, no sequencers, Hawkwind played all, naked Stacia danced and the light show exploded. You did not have to eat pills, Hawkwind were the drug, and their stories of lost heroes, tragic battles, starmen and warlords did the rest. Put this on your music player and live the real space saga (only 'Live Chronicles' - Hawkwind again! - will do the same, over 10 years after).
