2 stars Between "moog" and "sequences". That's what we get here. I guess that it is all too normal. And that's the problem. Klaus has scarcely been just "normal" in his long musical career. And this "Dosburg Online" is rather predictable.

Same techno ? dance oriented beats for a good chunk of the album ("Get Sequenced", "The Power Of Moog" and "Up Up And Away"). Gone are the pure and beautiful melodic lines which were still available in "Blue" some two years before this one.

I could have lived with this feeling though, but there is a dreadful track featured here as well: over FIFTEEN minutes of some sort of "Aphrica" if you see what I mean. Awful really. I have never been over-enthusiast with the combination of vocals and the music from the man. But to endure such a treat is almost unbearable.

The opera sounding Roelof Oostwoud is totally out of place, disturbing. I just can't stand this combination of electronic opera! It is a real pity to have featured this track: since the album is almost clocking at eighty minutes, sixty-five would have been much, much better and we would have avoided this painful experience.

He will strike back in the closing number "Prima Vera" but this time, he is more discreet and the melody much nicer.

Apart from these two songs; nothing special as already mentioned. An emotional "From Dawn Till Dusk" like in the good old days (but only four minutes are dedicated to this song). A pityful "Groove'n Bass", and one "epic" which refers to "The Art Of Sequencing". Not too bad though but you might realize that it doesn't offer a lot of variety during these eighteen minutes.

But this is comment valid for the whole of this work. Two stars.
