5 stars Perhaps some of you will have a bit of trouble getting used to the singer, but this is one hell of a great album! The production could have been better, but it must've been a debut-budget...The songs however, are totally brilliant. Perpetual child is one of the best sympho-metal tracks I have ever heard, other highlights are Sleepwalker, Join and Ice age. This album has been accused as a bit of a Dream Theater rip-off, and it may not be totally unjustified, but it doesn't matter. The songs are just too good to write it off that easily. Must-have!
