1 stars Eloy needed eleven years to issue Visionary and yet all we have got is a faint and uninspiring copy of their previous efforts, totally lacking imaginative strength and beauty, characteristic for their earlier works. Musically, this is a step backward (in comparison to Ocean 2) - even the production is weaker. The thematic framework is more or less the same, determined by endless repeating of terms from philosophy, pseudoscience and psychology - illusion, confusion, mystery, harmony, etc. What happened to a great band which made Colours, Ocean, Power and the Passion? I felt nothing while listening to it. Almost an offense to those who have been supporting Eloy all these years.
