5 stars 2nd review: Shining - Blackjazz : 5 stars.

I cannot even begin to express the assault of jazzy waves of music that were crashing in my brain when the first 20 seconds of "The Madness And The Damage Done" knocked me back into my chair. I was literally stunned by the tempo, the rhythm, the vivid energy, well, the madness really.

The influence of King Crimson is discernible a little all throughout the album and of course in their cover of "21st Century Schizoid Man", of which I was pleasantly surprised to hear that it was very well done. Already early on in the year and I found an album that I think will be hard to surpass by any of the similar genre.
