MOONMADNESS

Along with Mirage, I consider this an essential Camel record. (Sorry, Snow Goose has never made it for me.) There is not a weak spot her at all. From the instrumentals to the songs with lyrics, all is as close to perfection as it can be. I find this to be a "mellow" Camel album compard to others. Light, jazzy, even ethereal in places, but always great. From the opening notes of Aristillus to the close of Lunar Sea (Lunacy) this is a masterpiece of Prog. I do nothave the new cd with extended songs, soI can not speak to their quality. From the fact that many songs on this album became concert favorites and standards, it is easy for me to give this a solid 5 star rating! Excellent job, guys!
