5 stars If you can afford just one classic Genesis album, then that would be it. The band reached their climax here, all members playing and contributing towards the goal - create one of the best progressive rock albums ever. Banks starts using synths and Moog increasingly which brings refreshments into some more formal previous Hammond and piano exercises. Hackett sounds very elegant, Gabriel vocals are less theatrical, to my satisfaction. Collins has more expressive drumming with excellent rhythm support and taste still refraining from overblown drumming.

The three obvious highlights are the three long compositions and the only track I could do without is "I know what I like" Should be in your first 5 albums you listen to if you're getting into progressive rock.
