4 stars C like CAMEL because it's like that and you can't change anything! Yes Camel will be headlining this day and it's not a (easy) mirage, why?

1. 'Freefall' for one of the most recognizable intros of our time; heavy rhythm, air of series of the 60s and the beginning of the 70s, I always think of Chapeau melon, the prisoner, I don't know why it's like this! in short, the break remember, it starts on the orchestral sympho, Andrew's guitar wants to be soft, creamy while Andy's drums hits well metronomically, it reminds me a little of Jethro Tull I don't know why, in any case it had blocked me at the start, given my aversion to news, such is life 2.' Supertwister' for the flute yes, I was talking about the news on the title before, maybe the person responsible; the sound is well used, Doug's bass wants to be dark for a while, Peter's organ gives a little sensuality, suave music, which can melt the progeux who has not listened to this album for a good 40ne years and who will curse after me; here I'm going to open a beer for the trouble. 3. 'Nimrodel / The Procession / The White Rider' for a sound triptych, the one that makes you hope it will last a long time; the bells and applause and the intro fanfare refer me even more precisely to the prisoner, on the other hand I no longer know who I saw and/or listened to first; in short, the melodic prog as many imagined it, those who had difficulty with the works of the crimson king for example, with the overly religious Yessian flights; here we surf on the jazzy-sounding prog through the guitar which will send me looking for the sound of Al Di meola a few years later. Please note, I am only talking to you about memories, times, off-times and other musical structures, I leave them to you; here I'm talking about beauty like this guitar solo before the next passage, calm, soft, almost ethereal; good just to contradict me the bass vibrates from all sides, it starts on improvisation finally what I thought at the time as soon as we left the chorus-verse-chorus triptych; a title that made my hair stand up like the King Crimson red, a great moment finally 4. 'Earthrise' windy and radiant entry, the organ does its job, it's beautiful but too soft, luckily Andy hits a little harder to prevent me from saying that it's less good, in addition it's orchestral I'll have to love, well again it lacks waves, the tide is too low for me; but it's still a tad avant-garde just for the deluge of notes from the guitar, it squirts, it oozes, it doesn't stop; the question... did you have to smoke to go even further or was the music self- sufficient? seal to better enjoy .... their hard day; good this cutesy title as everything went like a letter to the post office finally 5.' Lady Fantasy' with Encounter/Smiles for Youc/Lady Fantasy, hello Earth, yes I often associated the intro with an extra-terrestrial signal! well I'll make it short, certainly the piece that struck me, hooked my ear when I was told about a Camel to listen to; since all my friends who listened to it left, to study elsewhere, perhaps dead of grief at having to leave me, kidnapped by an alien ship which was cruising while the Hi-Fi system was being turned on a little too loud? What extra terrestrials liked Camel, I don't know, in short I'm going back to my basics, how to talk about an album to have at home, to dust off, to sleep with under the pillow without telling you that it must be good because, that it is necessary to type it before its 50 years or that Denis Gray does not like? Well we talk we talk and boom we arrive at the central break with the organ-guitar fight, the moment when it becomes spleen, this vibrant moment that I will find much later while listening to the Anathema albums, spleen of all beauty; Suddenly it's like going to mass this time and I sing at dawn behind the priest, what's happening to me? phew the creaking solo wakes me up... I was scared, the organ also goes down a path full of notes, it rocks for the time; the return to this indestructible air, beautiful as a God on Olympus, one of the 50 tunes to have in mind is there, phew I almost forgot it.

Well it's over I don't know what happened, this album still has a little taste of 'come back'... finally. (note of the Mirage album of course and its 5)
