Okay, here we have a really bad pop-ballad and a somewhat interesting
instrumental. "Throwing it All Away" expresses my feeling about this entire album. Syrupy and
poppy Phil Collins flavored Genesis. Poor. 1 star
"Do the Neurotic" reminds me of "The Brazilian": a feeble effort to show that this band had
some progressive music left in their bones. Based on this energetic mishmash of sytn pop
and "prog" they don't. Comparing this to Genesis instrumental classics like "Los Endos" or
even "Dukes Travels" reveals it's missing prog-soul. 2 stars. The easy pun to make about this
release has to do with throwing it all away... 1 star. Don't bother unless you are a Phil Collins
fan. Go listen to "Dance on a Volcano" instead.
