4 stars This album is very guitar oriented and the atmosphere is pervaded with sadness like most of camel releases, my only regret is about keyboards sounds, i mean TON is a good instrumentalist but not that good for searching sounds. Track 1 Great instrumental opening part with LATIMER guitar flying hight soon caught up by discreet moog touches and organ layer, the melody is typical of CAMEL sustained by solid drums and bass lines. Track 2 This one could have been on MOONMADNESS with a more cloudy vocal and a different keyboards sound ( too much flashy to my taste )but i love the beautiful guitar part .Track 3 Nothing new but a strong feeling in melody and vocal part and always that aerial and colourful guitar. Track 4 Cello and flute in the same piece, a pure delight before the guitar comes in, drawing luminous arabesques in the air. Track 5 memorable sad melody that ingraves in your mind and that you bring with you for the day. Track 6 Not the most inspired song but the guitar save it from been a bit flat and ordinary. Track 7 A strong parfume from SNOWGOOSE in the opening guitar melody that could be better with a differnt keyboards sound but a great final part . Track 8 Still a guitar firework for this closing part and a very good songwritting. A very good album with a cover artwork that reminds us of early CAMEL releases but not quite at the top , i give 4 stars
