2 stars The band attempts once more to continue their efforts from previous as it recorded better than their first but it lacks the impact of sound as found in others in the time frame. A fairly artistic music video to get into the mainstream to set themselves apart is noted but not progressive in sound only in progression towards the status from becoming known as from a limited audience into a much broader audience as MTV can do for individuals/groups/etc. The sound is the attempt at catching up to the pack so to speak while the album cover once more has major problems in having a pig/hog/boar with forks on the cover while the album is labeled Undertow in which is very twisted in meaning to ever think a pig would ever become caught in an undertow? The album cover actually started it with a crest of the Acadian lineages of which the crest is the boar in that is near to the bassist's last name but not entirely identical as overall the album cover to say the least is in poor taste.

The hidden track having chosen lyrical content mentioning "this is necessary life feeds on life, feeds on life, etc" by the singer is in reflective observance communicative spiritual reveal of twisted demented nature in lyrical content of the vocalist attempting to substitute the animal world for the human while the vocalist's killing an innocent as a military member. Meaning killing without direct orders from the military which very well should end up legal trouble for this groups endeavors and controversial to say the least to support as the album in my opinion upon learning is off limits and very concerning. According to the vocalist's soaring ego he is the only individual that was drafted and fought single-handedly in conquering all the wars the country of which includes the world ever fought.
