BLACKWATER PARK

This is godlike, I hadn't started my growing opeth collection with this album i thought i would go for some of their earlier stuff and work my way through, and all of their stuff is class. With a band like opeth you come to expect great things, this album grabs you in so rapidly from the first death growl to the last note of the acoustic tune and is truly some powerful stuff and not to be underestimated.It constantly reinvents itself and takes you through an emotional rollercoaster which can't be helped, that in my opinion is why opeth have made such an impact. I would highly recommend this to anyone death metal fan or not.
