2 stars I want to begin my review on the album "Faded Leaves" of the Greek band LA TULIPE NOIRE, that this is the only of their works that I heard to the moment ( that means wich my review is not a vision of his whole work ) , but, at least in this disk , his music it provided me few moments of enthusiasm. Actually, I found the sonority of the band "extremely linear" and monotonous . The tracks are very similar amongst themselves, and they present a rhythmic / melodic / harmonic "linkage" quite "previsible." The scales repeat, rhythmic variations almost don't exist. One of the few variations appear in the track 3 "Winter In Your Heart" (where there is a change of a quaternary compass for a ternary compass). Maybe the only tracks of the disk that escape to this model are the already mentioned track 3 "Winter in Your Heart" and the track 7 " Le Fond Du Ciel ", which I consider very a little, in relation to the time of 64:58 min of duration . For this simple reasons, my rate is 2 stars.
