2 stars Very well done epic progressive neo-metal in a style that crosses Dream Theater with Savatage and Marillion. Heavy melodic guitar chords and solos mixed with synth flourishes and solos with good drumming and bass to set the rhythm. The keyboards can set up a symphonic feel at times and the harmony singing at times will give this music an angelic yet powerful sound. The singer has a very good voice similar to other melodic power metal vocalists. The music is not really power metal however, with it's many tempo changes and symphonic touches. A very good neo progressive album with slight power metal leanings. A promising debut by this band!
