4 stars 10 Songs on one album: there are people who think that this simple fact proves the album is not a progalbum. But I don't agree! Kino plays true neoprog, and if you like this kind of prog you really should buy this album! John (Arena) Mitchell's guitar playing is solid as usual, but his voice is a positive surprise to me. He sings a lot of vocal harmonies along with Pete Trawavas (Transatlantic, Marillion, in that order ;-)) and John Beck (It Bites) and that works for me!There voices merge into beautiful vocals, which keep on echoing in my head for days now. I think this is a very strong album: good songs, beautiful music! Highlight is the openingtrack Loser's Day Parade, also the longest track on the CD. The special edition CD gives you a DVD of a concert played at Rockpalast (december 2004) which proves the band to be a great livegig as well. If you love Arena, I think Kino's interpretation of neoprog will be a real treat for you. Highly recommended!
