5 stars After listening First Utterance from Comus and discovering that I am actually big fan of acid folk (which apparently I was not aware before) I naturally wanted to find more similar music. All recommendations were going to Jan Dukes De Grey. Now it has already past several months sins I have found both albums and I have truly enjoyed this great music. Sorcerers is their debut album. Although not that magnificent as their second album" Mice And Rats In The Loft" still I could not find any excuse to not give it fife stars. Music is truly magical. It is acoustic and entire album is full of familiar tunes. For many of them I've had filling that I have herd them before but just could not remember were (well I probable haven't heard them anywhere ells but they just gave me that wandering filing).

There are 18 tracks on album. Some of them although very god are sadly very short, like "Dragons" , "Ode to a Schoolgirl" and " Forms". "Rags, Old Iron" , "28th June, Village Song" , "Sorcerers" , "Texas" are great tracks with colorful acoustic music and great flute work. Each one of them represents what this album is really about. "Trust Me Now" sounds somewhat tribal whit its slightly faster rhythm. Although very simple track still is nice and wordy of listening. "High Priced Room" one of the highlights of the album. Highly suggestive music, which can truly picture you a dark and smoke atmosphere of overcrowded inn were you can rent a high priced room. "Turkish Time" the longest song on the album . Some lunatic singing here which will soon be truly developed in their next album.

Anyway, in the end big fife stars. Maybe to big? I don't know really. But music like this is really rare and this one being so good in the end deserves praise. Also I now I haven't really sad nothing specific about a music but I am saving the words for the review of their next album "Mice And Rats In The Loft".
