5 stars "Deliverance" is up there with Blackwater Park and Still Life as the best two Opeth albums. It's an amazing albuym. The first time I heard the title track and the solo section of "A Fair Judgement" I was completely blown away. "Master's Apprentice" is quite possibly one of the heaviest Opeth songs out there along with "Deliverance" and "Demon of the Fall" (From the album My Arms, Your Hearse). The closer is really something special as well. "By the Pain I see in Others" is almost flawless. It flows back and forth from different kinds of immense heaviness to a beautiful yet spooky middle section.

Overall, the whole album is great and every fan Of Opeth or just prog metal should have it already.
