VISION

This is my favorite PETER HAMMILL solo album. Features ROBERT FRIPP on guitar.Although not as highly praised as PH 7 or the groundbreaking THE FUTURE NOW,this effort comes off with a great line up of songs from the first track to the last.The sound is a bit more on the popish side and that may be what turns some fans off to this one.But to me, that makes this collection even more listenable than some of the earlier efforts.Stand cuts include NADIR'S BIG CHANCE,THE INSTITUTE OF MENTAL HEALTH BURNING and THE COMET THE COURSE THE TAIL which all work together sort of rock oprea style.Also glad to see that this lp which had not been included in the PROG ARCHIVES listings has now been added!
