3 stars An acoustic concert of Marillion.

Nice music.

Arrangements with unplugged instruments.

If you are an all music listener and specially you like folk rock or folk pop you will find this quite nice.

But me as an old follower, I am still a traditional fan of Marillion and I prefer the old neo prog. of Fish and the new neo prog with SH.

There are prog folk bands and very good ones and they have their fans , there are neo prog bands ,symphonic prog bands.....

Neo prog is the renewal of the symphonic prog with modern additions and modern rock instruments.

I am sure if Yes,Genesis,Pink Floyd,Pendragon etc... performs an acoustic concert songs will sound nice every good prog rock band can do that ...¿Where is the originality?

So if Mariilion is a neo prog band and i like them as a neo prog band and not as a a folk pop or folk rock band of course i will feel a little disappointed with this live work .

I was expecting a concert of them performing a live experience of ther last albums as their last studio albums really were.

So for the folk rock or pop 4 stars ,but for the neo prog 2.

Average 3 stars.
