CLUTCHING AT STRAWS

I finally feel I can give an honest review of this album after seeing some recent 5-star reviews. For me, this is Marillion's finest work, and really delivers emotionally. I get feelings from this album that I've never quite experienced before. Hard to explain, but it really just hits me the right way (and in a very different way). Just an incredible experience, and one I know I'll never tire of. The lyrics (and title) speak of the utter futility some of us experience while fighting alcoholism. A very personal, yet worldly album.
