5 stars Miles Davis: A Tribute To Jack Johnson is simply a masterpiece, and wherever you see this album is a gem. Surrealistic, abrasive, radical, visceral, witty, playful, etc., there is no adjective that can describe this album. It should be mentioned that this lp is on the second stage of Davis, where the influences made a new configuration, and the jazz retransformed to give new ways of interpreting, thinking. This is only a fragment of the second moment that kept the afroamerican at the top of jazz not only as a pilot but as structure and form. Seems to be too much praises for an album, I think this well deserves it. Five out of five.
