3 stars Being released shortly after animals this album has the same feeling minus the grandure. It really is quite laid back from start to finish with quite a similar sound all the way through. I'd say animals crossed with some acoustic guitarist like clapton or tommy emanuel.

To be perfectly honest this is not progressive rock. If your looking to extend your Pink Floyd collection beyond the works of the floyd I'd get Roger Waters Amused to Death as it sounds much more like the floyd. On the other hand if your looking for a good guitar based album then this is it. Of course there are solos in almost every song. They arent as explosive as some of DG's earlier work but I'm sure you won't be disapointed.

I'd say this is a great album for your car as the songs are only short but still have in my opinion a great sound. It isn't an album that will be in your top ten favourites or anything however I believe its one that most people will like for its simplicity and widley appealing musical structure.

Remember it's NOT PROG!!! (thats why its only 3 stars)
