3 stars I guess this is the 3rd part of the Jethro Tull "trilogy" of SONGS FROM THE WOOD, HEAVY HORSES, and STORMWATCH, which solidified Tull and Ian Anderson as the kings of "folk- prog" in the 70's. STORMWATCH, however, is by far the weakest link in the trilogy. The energy and emotion and inspiration of the latter 2 albums seems to be missing in much of this release. Good songs are here: "North Sea Oil", "Orion", "Dark Ages", "Somethings On the Move", and "Elegy" but the rest fails to hold my interest. The bonus tracks on the new CD are interesting but not essential Tull. So, not a bad album (here comes UNDER WRAPS...) but not a masterpiece. 3 stars. Good but not essential.
