4 stars 1) Very good, melodic and smooth album. Don't consider what had been with CAMEL before and what turned out to be afterwards. It is the album OF IT'S TIME. 2) Some may like not the sound. But pls. remember - it is 1977, so the new wave "lightness" started to spring into existence already! National Health, UK, Zappa's "Joe's Garage", etc, etc. - it is great music, although the sound is specific... 3) Really brilliant tribute from Mr. Sinclair (remember Hatfield & the North?) - jazzy, very native sound! 4) Andy Latimer, first of all, is a lyricist - and a very good one, though a pessimistic one:)! So, CAMEL's season is autumn; I highly recoomend to listen to their heritage these September days, in the evenings; it works!
