3 stars I am not fully into why this EP was released. I believe it was a fan thing and a marketing ploy. Which is a fair game by Arena and their record label.

What we get here is twenty minutes plus divided on four songs. All four songs are within the Neo-Prog genre. There are some metal, nu-rock and AOR flavours in all songs. The guitars are sometimes metallic chugging. Ditto for the keyboards and vocals. The songs has pretty progressive structure throughout. There is no doubts where Arena comes from. The songs are also pretty varied and has some nice details. There is no doubts too that Arena is a quality act.

The quality of the material is good throughout. It is my understanding that this EP contains leftovers. If that's the case, I would like to get the main-meal, please. This is not a great EP, but it certainly wets my appetite for one of their albums.
