4 stars I agree with the 1st reviewer...This is a great IABD album...he just forgot one thing...Billy's guitar...Patty & Bud's vocals wouldn't have had the same effect without Billy's Les Paul cranked up sound ("Grand Camel Suite" on the live album is one of his contributions). It is definitely a different sound from the guitar of\n the 1st couple of records...but it brought a freshness that had been missing after It's A Beautiful Day...Today.

It is just too bad that Patty signed that contract (when she was underaged) that shut the band down when she tried to get out of it...they were poised to move back up to where they had been...& beyond (look at the other groups that were on top during the early to mid 70's-Allman Bros. Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top)-all heavily Southern influenced ( or just plain Southern) Rock n' Roll. I think they could have been right up there with them.

This album was the beginning...the personnel & the sound were right!
