3 stars Stormwatch can be considered the third album in the trilogy begun by "Songs from the Wood". Trilogies usually follow one of two paths: they get stronger or weaker. This trilogy ("Heavy Horses" being the middle album) followed the weaker path. This does not mean that it is a bad album - just that the folk accented theme begun by SftW was running out of steam. By the bye - on the song Orion - no one has mentioned that this is the only other JT song (of which I am aware - feel free to correct) to use the rhythm pattern from the song Aqualung. Not one of Tull's best, but it grows with repeated listenings.
