While being a big admirer of Steven Wilson's previous work with Porcupine Tree, I just cannot seem to connect with this album. After reading all the extremely positive reviews on this site for this album I really tried to like it and to find what others seem to have found with it. So I gave it at least 10 spins but I honestly could not find many memorable passages. Stand out tracks are clearly "Deform to form a Star" and "Raiders II". Otherwise the album drags on quite a bit without any real highlights. About 50% of this release bores me to death.
