5 stars Sorcerors is one of the neglected , seldom mentioned crown jewels of the genre now known as " Acid Folk ". A fairly sparse album ( certainly compared to its follow up ) it manages to convey a truly magical atmosphere - Sorcerors , indeed ! The mainly acoustic performances are sparingly embellished with electric bass and organ ' and are beautifully topped of with the nasal warble and excellent observational lyrics of Derek Noy. Highpoints for me are Out Of The Eastern Hills , Butterfly , City After 3 A.M. and High Priced Room. A great album , certainly deserving of an official re-release.
