BREATHLESS

one should take into consideration before judging an album(especially prog)the fact that he can approach the music from different aspects of charateristics,but he has to define them to begin with.I think it wouldn't be fare to judge an album from one angle.for instance,"Breathless" was out at 1978 and i have to pay careful attention to time factor,and rate it for it's time.then again i could treat it like it was out at 1972 and be dissapointed.so, here i;m going to rate it at a perspective of it's era.in my opinion,aside from "echoes"which has nothing to do really with the way or level tracks on this album were built,i don't see many tracks in HISTORY that can produce in 7 minutes (i repeat 7 min.),what camel produced here.as for "summer lightning"one of the best ever solo guitar (entire 3 min. of pure heaven--a.latimer)melodic pieces.as for the rest of the album loved it, but again,as far as i can really love a disc from 1978.
