4 stars They played this album at Bristol's Colston Hall the year it came out. It has always been one of my favourites. For all the good tracks on this album like School, Hide In Your Shell or Dreamer the track that has always knocked me out is Rudy. When I read reviews petraining to the Crime Of The Century I look to see if anyone has written anything positive about this track. If you know the track well you will remember there are sounds of railways in the background and the story revolving around Rudy and his train to nowhere. As the track moves along and really starts to rock you realise that the music played, using a wah wah pedal, and some beautifully arranged strings represents an express train howling through the countryside. It is one of my all time favourite tracks on a very fine album indeed.
