3 stars I don't know why the heck this album is so popular, it's so damn mediocre that you don't notice any of the tracks when you listen to them. They are all really nice and pleasant but they never and I mean never grab you. The album just flows smoothly from beginning to end without registering and when it's all over you'll be thinking what the hell was that? You'll be asking yourself if you accidentally put on an album of elevator music instead of a prog album. If I want pleasant music that doesn't really register I'd much rather listen to a twenty minute raga by Ravi Shankar. 'Asylum' and 'Crime of the Century' are the only tracks that I can almost remember what sound like and they are kind of enjoyable, in the context of this album that is. Proclaiming this album to be total shit and giving it just one star is what I really want to do, but it's all really well played and produced and like I said before it's a real pleasant and nice album. Besides this is exactly the kind of crap that might grow on me.
