1 stars "Go To The Head Of The Class" is a nice little tune and that's all as far as the charms of this album goes. This is vying for the top spot for the "honour" of being the worst cd to bear the Tangerine Dream name and is one of those soundtracks Edgar Froese fought to stop being released, that should tell you all you need to know. But just in case you're a glutton for punishment: This soundtrack to a totally forgettable movie was made in 1987 when TD was churning out soundtracks like they were assembly line workers in a car factory rather than musicians, and just like the rest of them it suffers from a complete lack of creativity and imagination, the two most prominent features of TD albums normally. Remove those from the TD equation and what you're left with is a synth-soundtrack-by-numbers,the kind of thing they were able to do in their sleep by this point. Completely uninteresting for anyone other than the terminally braindead and actually one of the reasons why Chris Franke left the band soon afterwards. Enough said I should think.
