DO YOU LIKE IT HERE NOW, ARE YOU SETTLING IN?

"Be good to yourself.." would probably be Man's definitive album, but "Do you like it here..."efirmly remains my favourite and most played Man Album. Even what seem to be the more quiet of songs take the listener through a mystical musical journey of alternating rhythms and riffs. Taking the album as a whole you are placed into an aural maze constructed by these welsh wizards of psydhedelic boogie where you will get lost more than once,regain the path, only to end up somewhere else. Upon exiting this finely crafted masterpiece you will probably want to re-enter to understand a little more... This album is possibly more suited to heads than progheads. A true psychedelic gem. "" Do you like it here now,are you settling in" , along with Van der Graaf Generators "H to He.." were responsible for re-attuning my musical taste [don't ask!!] Thus I hand out the five stars in a responsible manner.
