5 stars I wonder if this is underrated or just seldom rated (i thought this band was popular). First I must say this is rather perfect, compact album.

This compact disc has symphonical smooth parts and folky, little canterburyish rhytms, but basically it's rock (and hard rock) - but very melodious. And it's psychedelic, for example because of the twisting mixing and repeating. It can seem monotonic, but it's just deliberated to be little bit krautrock-like. Diverse enough - and good instrumentals. Vocals sound innocent, pitiful - I like it. Occasionally his voice sounds awful hard rock singer, but so what! It can also seem like this album is banal pop - if taking off clearly proggy things - but it's an illusion. Seems like I'm defending psychedelic symphonic hard rock album to be prog, but it's also an illusion.

My favourite song is "All Good Clean Fun" (4:31, track#2) - complex and compact with happy feeling, but every song hits. I'm easy to get bored and i personally thought I couldn't like this kind of music, but I changed my mind. Album is perfect if liking this style.

Put some of canterbury in (which?), for example Egg, and tighten it (take off organ and brass, too), add minimalistic psychedelic stuff and it's almost it. Or take Gentle Giant's "Cry For Everyone! Actually, this album is unique, but it has something for everyone.

Waiting for samples?

(sorry my language-using)
