3 stars Well, it's very hard for me to make a review on Klaus Schulze because I really love their music since he wasa member of Tangerine Dream. Really innovative, dark and totally inflluenced by German classical music (specially the great Wagner), Schulze has his "snake periods", albums which his music seems to be slowly changing their old skin to take a new and different form.

"Das Wagner Desaster" seems to be one of this albums. I have nothing to say about the performance because sounds really amazing: the classic almost minimalist keyboards in a constant "crescendo" mixed with very electronic drum bases and operatic sampled vocals. A really well-made live record.

The problem is that the music seems to go nowhere. After every long and breathless song I excpect something more, almost like a epic ending or something like that but every song passes extremely similar to the previous.

Fanatics of Mr. Schulze would enjoy this record. I think that they have better albums but this one (with pros and cons) is just good...
