Progressive!
3 stars DEEP PURPLE'S MOS OVERRATED ALBUM!!

This is by far the most overrated album, this is way inferior than Fireball and Deep purple, and yet is loved by fans, but anyway, those are not true prog fans.

Sure, this album is really powerful and with metal-like sounds, but it is so monotone! at least Machine head has songs like "when a blind man cries" but this has one of them!

The whole album is a constant fight between keyboards and guitars, causing all the tracks to sound the same.

Anyway...

I must admit it has good points like Child in time, or hard lovin' man, but after all its not a great abum

*PD*: personally, i see Deep Purple (from this album) as a hard/progresive rock band, not progressive metal, nor softer prgressive acts like genesis
