BREATHLESS

Well, I'm a fairly big Camel fan, having all studio albums except for The Single Factor. I must say, this album is pretty dull. I thought that it might grow on me the way Raindances did, but this one just seems characterless and listless. Sinclairs sole contribution is mildly amusing and clever, but still nothing to write home about. Echoes and The Sleeper are decent tracks, but would be lesser songs on most other Camel ablums. As much as I've tried to enjoy this album, I just can't. It really doesn't hold my attention and is only better than the horrible Stationary Traveler and the almost worthless I Can See Your House From Here. Still, two stars for not being their absolute worst.
