I would consider this a masterpiece, because it gives us a glance at Pink Floyd in the starting stages uder lead guitarist Syd Barrett. Without Syd Barrett there would be no Shine on you crazy diamond. Also it allows listerners to see the progression of Pink Floyd when carfully reviewed with the otheralbums. Plus it is a great album in its own rights.
