THE PIPER AT THE GATES OF DAWN

This is a great document to show how much floyd changed. The great album from the sixties is completly different to the lengthy 'soundscapes' they would create in later years. Apart from the lengthy Intersella overdrive (nearly 10 minutes) this is an album of fun and interesting shorter songs. Syd seems to show a strong sense of humour on this album. My personal highlights from this album would be 'Astronomy Domine", "Interstella Overdrive" and bike. A very good album
