4 stars Hard to believe but this is the only record to be featured as a quintet, a very "space" record, filled with a lot of ambient sounds (except of course with last song), the hand of Syd Barrett is still avery strong infuence in the band, and at the same time an annoying force that is fading into the unknown, perhaps the most talked about songs from this record are the masterpiece SET THE CONTROLS TO THE HEART OF THE SUN and the underrated A SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS. Actually beacuse of this two songs worth the risk buying this record, and i'm not denying the opening cut LET THERE BE MORE LIGHT but is obvious that they had their key moments. Belive in this record as a failed task or as a transitional record, that led into greater things. an unnamed classic
