4 stars Arjen goes Metal!!! That's the sentence I read on the catalogue from InsideOut music and I thought I should have it soon. Actually, the songs from Ayreon is far better than Star One, although I liked their songs such as "Starchild", "Songs Of The Ocean", and "Intergalactic Space Crusaders" (may be I'm not too metal maniac!!! He. if you are a hard metal fans, please don't be angry to read my review). I have collected Star One "Space Metal" before and ironically, I was so impressed with their "Hawkwind Medley" (the track from the bonus CD of the Special Edition version). One think I just wanted to know at that moment is how Arjen played a few songs from Ayreon such as my favorite "The Dream Sequencer", "Isis And Osiris", and "Castle Hall" because he never shot his concert for DVD or video and now it was a rare moment for us who can enjoy his performance. The guests in the concert were also special such as Russell Allen (Symphony X) and Damian Wilson (ex-Threshold). Russell's vocals in "Starchild" so magnificent and also you couldn't forget Damian's vocals in almost every song. Finally, you can see "Russell goes R&B" in "The Two Gates". For the bonus material, you can find the legendary "Space Truckin" (Deep Purple) and several bonus tracks from a different show. Well, for overall, "Star Four" is enough for "Star One".
