ANIMALS

I never tire of this album - one of the Floyd's greatest - It might even be my favourite, though not sure. Each track is better than the last, with Sheep being one of Floyd's greatest ever pieces. You get the feeling that the band were getting on well here - for the last time. The lyrics are scary - particularly that Psalm 23 alteration on Sheep (I can barely listen to that - too scary for me, but then I dont like horror movies - Shaun of the Dead gave me a nightmare!)

Everything about this is perfect - from the instruments (all 4 band members really shine on this), to the production and the mix. My favourite moment is the guitar solo at the end of Pigs - it's a long time coming, but when it does - wow!
