1 stars Another one??? I haven't actually bought this one, but from on the tracklisting I can deduct that this is another compilation of their two 80s albums, with additional live tracks from that era. Now, it's silly enough to make a compilation spanning merely two studio albums (plus some very weak live renditions of classics), but the worst thing is that there have been at least two others of its kind: "Knocking at your Backdoor: The Best of Deep Purple" and "Smoke on the Water" - both having the same tracklisting. It's is a pitiful attempt to cash in with these, quite frankly, subpar songs. If you are looking to get to know Deep Purple, avoid this one like a plague!

2 stars Another Deep Purple compilation. Focused on 80's production plus live versions of 70's songs. Not Prog. With good song ("Knocking At Your Back Door", "Perfect Strangers", "Bad Attitude", "Smoke On The Water", "The Spanish Archer" and "Highway Star", the songs who I prefer). The final result is a good AOR/ Hard Rock compilation with good Blackmore and Gillan and with well-written songs.

Because of this and because this compilation is a budget price compilation, this compilation is OK. In the economy of Deep Purple discography... Well, this compilation is anything interesting. Only for Die Hard Deep Purple fans.

P.s.: The cover with Morse is not correct. Morse is not present in the songs of this compilation.
