3 stars After having paired with John Lawton for his previous live album, Ken is now joined by John Wetton. This is of course another excellent choice and leads to a fine recording.

This album is a mix of Ken's last studio album ("Running Blind") and some great Heep songs. In terms of the latter ones, I just find a pity that only "Return To Fantasy" is added to already available live material from the previous work with John.

Their catalogue is so impressive that another choice could have been tempted (even if "Easy Livin" and "July Morning" are all time best of course). The version of "Easy Livin" is not truly convincing here though. "Return?" being one of the best of the whole.

This work is somewhat irrelevant if you already have listened to the very good "Return" from The Hensley/Lawton band. It is enjoyable of course, and deserves the attention of Heep fans, but this exercise could have been better. But even as such, sharing a live moment with Ken is always a pleasure and this one is no other even if the noisy intro of "Tell Me" and the karaoke during "Wizard" are not necessary.

Three stars.
