5 stars FOR WHO... YES, FOR WHO?

Useful useless Miles Davis compilation from Columbia/ Soy Music. Is this 'The Best Of...?; is this 'Greatest Hits'? No, this is a 'Collection'! A 'Collection'. And for what? Hmmm... A 'Collection' of 8 Miles Davis recordings. Is it present Jazz Rock? No. In fact: 'So What' is from 1958; 'Some Day My Prince Will Come' is from 1961; 'Time After Time is from 1985 but it is a pure POP Jazz; 'Summertime' is from 1958; 'Eighty-one is from 1965; 'Bye Bye Blackbird' is from 1956; 'New Rhumba' is from 1957; Human Nature is from 1985 but it is POP Jazz. This compilation is a big disappointment for a JR fan? No, because the quality is so high that also a die hard Jazz Rocker must recognize that we are facing an immense compilation. And not because Miles Davis is the father of JR.

Sure one of the top 3 compilations that I have.
