1 stars I'm afraid that "Amici" won't reconcile me this band. If you except a couple of albums in their long production, they never reached the level of some of their Italian colleagues IMO.

In terms of prog, this work has little to offer (as their production since "Aldebaran" in 78); just basic Italian pop rock. Which is far to be my cup of tea. But when I listen to the Motown like "On The Broadway" I am quite perplexed. What is this??? The Lamb certainly didn't cross their path?Press next and jump in the syrupy ballad "Albieri". Not really convincing either like the closing one "Per Un Amore" (the title says it all)!

You have understood that this work is not a brilliant one. Very few progheads could be interested in such an album (which is probably the reason why I'm the first to review "Amici"). Unless you like Italian reggae for instance ("Sebastiano" or "Naia"). But who likes Italian reggae?

To listen to this album is a continuation of difficult moments: the disco pop "Cielo Chiaro" is another example of what not to do. But it seems that by this time, the band is only releasing such type of music; which is a shame.

The only bearable tracks are the melodic "Nuvole" and the opener "Confini Sottili". As long as TNT will release such albums, I have no other option than to rate them with one star.
