4 stars Those 2 shows in Holland and Montreal have the same set list ; the complete "Sounds That Can't be Made" album and more than a hour of other songs from various albums. The old days of the Fish era are long time gone, but this doesn't mean that we can't find trace in some passages of that era, especially in the guitar of Steve Rothery. The show begin with one of the most original song from the band in many years "Gaza". A epic song with dark atmosphere not too far in some heavier part of Nine Inch Nail music. "Power" is another new track with emotional moments and dark mood. The title track of the album has another nice atmosphere with beautiful keyboards parts from Mark Kelly. Some earlier songs have been place between the songs of the last album, like "King of Sunset Town", who is the closest the band came to the music of the Fish era. The 2 epics "This Stange Engine" and "Neverland" from the album "Marbles" are always great songs to play live.

In the Holland show, for the first time, the stage has a platform in the middle where Steve Hogarth can walk and be closer to the crowd. In the Montreal show, the light show is more colourful and the set list order has been change to place the song "Montreal" at the end for obvious reason. The DTS sound is nice and you can enjoy it further more in the third Blu-Ray who is a the audio version of the new album. There is also different demos and new takes of the the new album which i am going to listen only once, because of the questionable sound quality.

Is this live release essential to their large live discography? No, but it's another excellent addition to your big collection of Marillion albums...
