3 stars The second album of GALIJA appeared in 1980 following the success of the debut. But, for whatever the reason, the band changed half of the members - now with the new guitar, bass and keyboards players. The sound and the production is slightly better than on the debut, but the compositions follow the similar pattern.

Two longer "symphonic" tracks ("Bilo je to jednom"/"Once Upon a Time", "Neka bude sve tebi u cast"/"Everything in Your Honour"), one nice ballad ("U suton"/"The Dusk"), and four shorter rock songs with occasional STONES-like guitar riffs and harmonica, out of which only "Nije ti otac kriv"/"Not Your Father's Fault" deserves attention, with a jazz/blues piano riff, harmonica and heavy guitar solos. The best moments on the album are two closing tracks: "Neka bude sve tebi u cast" with some dark, menacing chords, atmospheric synths, and confident guitars. Also very good is a combination of dual vocals by Milosavljevic brothers. "U suton" was written by poet D. Cesaric, and composed around the slow blues rhythm where there is an interesting but underdeveloped guitar solo. Another classic ballad of GALIJA!

Overall, "Druga plovidba" ("The Second Voyage") is filled with lesser material than its predecessor, even though slightly better produced. Generally, the second half of the album is much better, with two very nice closing tracks recommended to listen.
